Desk walking
This training method is very successful when you have members of staff who have problems that need to be resolved in a live environment. Our training staff can be booked for set periods i.e. ½ day, 1 day, 1 week etc, they will then come to your premises and are available to staff during that period. This allows staff to highlight specific problems with Microsoft packages i.e. macros, indentation etc to the trainer who will then demonstrate to the individual how to overcome it. This is very informal training but it ensures people get to improve the way they work

Drop in training
Drop in training is a little more structured. Our trainer will be allocated an area to sit, armed with a PC and the relevant software. Staff will be advised that our trainer is on site and there will be set times for specific subjects i.e. excel morning session, access afternoon session. This allows staff to then book periods of time i.e. 10 min, 30 min etc and come to trainers with queries. Specific problems will then be resolved. We see this more as a training surgery

• Staff can plan prior to trainer arrival
• They are made aware of topic headings
• More cost effective to full day training as staff learn what is required
• Can develop staff on site without full day absence
